Jacob Thompson is entering his 10th year as a high school coach and 12th year as a club coach. He is currently the head coach at Rouse High School. Before starting his career he was a student assistant at Henderson State University for 3 years and 1 year as a graduate assistant. Jacob spent 4 years at Liberty Eylau and 3 years at Georgetown as the head coach and led the teams to 5 seasons of playoffs. He took 2 programs and turned them into state recognized programs. In 9 years Jacob has never experienced a losing season. This will be his 4th year coaching with Austin Performance. He has coached multiple age groups in club. He has trained and worked with numerous collegiate athletes. 

  • Coached club volleyball for the past 12 years

  • Qualified one team for National Junior Olympic Championships

  • Helped develop and train numerous Division I and collegiate athletes

  • Established a multiple state recognized high school volleyball program while developing and maintaining best in class student athletes

  • Led teams at Liberty Eylau and Georgetown to state playoffs from 2002-2004, 2006-2007

  • Organized and executed yearly summer camps while managing budget optimization
