Kelsey Weisinger

My name is Kelsey Weisinger. I am currently beginning my junior year at Texas State University. I am majoring in mathematics with a minor in business education and would like to be a high school math teacher and coach high school volleyball. I have played volleyball since I was in 7th grade. I played for Block Party Volleyball Club for 1 year and then played Austin Juniors Volleyball for three years. I attended Georgetown High School where I was a member of the volleyball team for 4 years, playing one year on junior varsity and three years on varsity. As a junior I received the defensive player of the year award and as a senior served as captain and received co-MVP honors. I also received academic all-district recognition. After graduating from high school I had the opportunity to work several team volleyball camps. I have the desire to coach volleyball at the high school level because I love the sport of volleyball and enjoy helping others develop and reach their goals in the sport.
