15s through 18s tryouts are this week! AP 15 Gazelle Wins Bronze
Medal at AAU Nationals
AP 17 Eclectic played at the AAU Junior National Championships and finished in a very impressive 5th place out of the more than 130 teams. Congratulations to Amy Jones for being named a 2010 AAU All-American! Fantastic job Eclectic. AP 16 Spartans also played in the AAU Junior National Championships and finished a silver finalist. That put the Spartans in 18th place out of the more than 150 teams. Way to go Spartans! AP 14 Black Mamba placed 21st out of the more than 130 teams at the AAU Junior National Championships. AP 13 Kiraly placed 38th out of 72 teams. AP 17 Puma finished 57th out of more than 130 teams. AP 15 PHD and AP 16 Stealth continue to prepare for the USA Junior National Championships in Reno, Nevada. PHD will compete on June 26-29 and Stealth will compete on June 30 - July 3. Regionals, 6 AP teams finished in the top 8 of their age group at the Lone Star Regional tournament in Houston over the May 1-2 weekend. AP 15 PHD and AP 16 Stealth both earned bids in the National division to the 2010 USA Girls Junior National Championships. AP 16 Stealth captured the National bid to the USA Girls Junior National Championships by winning the Lone Star Regionals with a perfect 7-0 match record over the 2 days. Watch match point below! Four more AP teams made their way in to the top 10 of the Lone Star Regionals. AP 14 Black Mambas had a great showing and finished in 7th overall. AP 16 Spartans also had a very strong tournament and finished in 6th place overall. AP 17 Eclectic finished in 8th overall and AP 18 Samurai finished in 7th overall. Way to go ladies! AP 17 Viper finished in 15th place out of the 40+ teams in 17 bid and AP 16 Tsunami also finished the tournament on a strong note, earning a 17th place finish of the more than 60 teams in the 16 Bid division. AP 12 Eagles finished in 21st place in the 12 Bid division, while AP 13 Kiraly finished in 17th out of the 44 teams in 13 Bid. AP 15 Gazelle finished in 25th place out of the more than 60 teams in 15 Bid. AP 13 Kiraly, AP 14 Black Mamba, AP 15 Gazelle, AP 16 Spartans, AP 17 Eclectic and AP 17 Puma will all be attending the AAU National tournament.
