AP 16 Stealth Wins Bronze in Open at Far Western
AP 13 Kiraly Takes Home Silver Medals

AP 16 Stealth traveled to Reno, Nevada and competed in the 16 Open division of the Far Western National Qualifier. The team finished the tournament by winning the bronze bracket, for a 13th place overall finish. Way to go Stealth.

AP 13 Kiraly played in the APV #5 tournament and came up just short in game 3 of the championship match. AP Kiraly took home the silver medals. Great job AP 13 Kiraly!


AP 16 Spartans Finish 5th at Lone Star Qualifier &
AP 16 Stealth Finishes 11th in Open
AP 15 PHD Finishes 9th at Far Western National Qualifier

AP 16 Spartans went 7-1 in matches at the 3-day Lone Star National qualifier in Dallas to capture 5th place in the 16 National division out of the 57 team field. Way to go Spartans!

AP 15 PHD traveled to Reno and played in the Far Western National qualifier. PHD went 7-1 in matches and 15-2 in games, losing only to the eventual champion, to finish 9th out of the 98 team field. Great job PHD! 

AP 16 Stealth played in the 16 Open division of the Lone Star National qualifier and finished in 11th place out of the 36 team field. Nice job Stealth!


AP 14 Black Mamba - 4th at Lone Star Qualifier
AP 15 PHD Finishes 9th at Lone Star National Qualifier

AP 14 Black Mamba played in the 14 National division at the Lone Star National Qualifier on April 9-11 and finished in 4th place out of the 56 team field. The Black Mambas finished with an impressive 8-2 match record. Congrats ladies!

AP 15 PHD played in the 15 National division at the Lone Star Qualifier and finished 9th out of the 57 team field. PHD finished with a solid 5-2 match record. Great job PHD!


AP Captures 3 More Tournament Championships

AP 12 Eagles went a perfect 4-0 at the LSC warmup to capture the tournament championship. AP 15 Fury also went a perfect 4-0 at the LSC warmup to grab the gold medals. In the 16s division of the tournament, AP grabbed the top 3 spots with AP 16 Tsunami winning the gold medals. AP 16 Spartans finished 2nd and AP 15 PHD took 3rd. 

AP 15 Gazelle also took 3rd place playing up in the 16s division while AP 15 Momentum took 3rd in their tournament.

AP 17 Viper won the bronze bracket of 17 Club to finish 23rd out of the 87 teams behind a strong 6-3 match record at the Northeast National Qualifier on April 2-4 in Baltimore.

AP 17 Eclectic, AP 17 Puma and AP 18 Samurai all also played at the Northeast National Qualifier on April 2-4 in Baltimore. AP 18 Samurai finished 17th out of the 43 teams in 18 Open. AP 17 Eclectic finished 20th out of the 40 teams in 17 Open. AP 17 Puma finished 31st out of the 87 teams in 17 Club.


AP 15 Gazelle Finishes 2nd at Northeast National Qualifier
3 AP Teams Finish in the top 10 at the NEQ
... and AP 16 Stealth wins another 17s tournament!

AP 15 Gazelle played in the Northeast National Qualifier in Baltimore on March 27-29 and made their way to the finals for an impressive 2nd place finish out of the 46 team field in the 15 American division. AP 15 Gazelle finished the weekend with an 8-2 match record. Great job Gazelle!

AP 16 Spartans played in the 16 National division of the Northeast National Qualifier in Baltimore, and lost a very tight match in the quarterfinal to finish 5th out of 64 teams. Way to go Spartans!

AP 14 Black Mamba also made it to the gold bracket, playing in the 14 Club division of the Northeast National Qualifier, for a 9th place finish out of 71 teams. Great job Black Mamba!

AP 16 Stealth won another 17s tournament over the weekend! AP 17 Puma finished 2nd and AP Viper finished 4th as AP took 3 of the top 4 spots in the tournament. Great job AP!

AP 12 Eagles and AP 13 Kiraly each grabbed another set of medals with their 2nd place finishes over the weekend.

AP 15 Shazam played 5 matches back to back to back and truly earned their 2nd place overall finish in the gold division of the Central Texas power league.

AP 16 Tsunami also made their way to the Bronze bracket of the Northeast National qualifier where they finished a solid 31st out of the 88 team field in 16 American.

AP 14 Flyers finished on a strong note, winning the Flight 3 bracket of the 14 Club division of the Northeast National qualifier. 

AP 13 Gold went 3-1 in their tournament, losing only to the eventual champion, to grab 3rd place.


AP 15 Momentum Wins Tournament
AP 15 Gazelle Finishes 2nd Playing Up in 16s Tournament

AP 15 Momentum went a perfect 4-0 in matches and 8-0 in games to capture their tournament championship. Great job Momentum!

AP 15 Gazelle played up in a 16s tournament and went 4-1 in matches and 9-3 in games to take 2nd place. Way to go Gazelle! 


5 AP Teams Start March as Tournament Champs!
AP 16 Spartans win another 17s tournament!

AP 16 Spartans went a perfect 4-0 in matches to capture their second 17s tournament championship of the season. Great job Spartans!

AP 14 Flyers, AP 15 PHD, AP 16 Tsunami and AP 17 Eclectic all also went undefeated and captured the championships of their respective one day tournaments. AP 16 Tsunami was a perfect 4-0 in matches. AP 15 PHD was a perfect 5-0 in matches and 13-1 in games. Great job ladies!

AP 15 Gazelle, AP 17 Puma and AP 17 Viper all made it to the finals of their tournaments and finished as runner ups. Way to go!

AP 15 Shazam lost only one match on the day as they finished their tournament in 3rd. Great job.


AP 15 Shazam Has Undefeated Weekend

AP 12 Eagles made their way to another tournament final, and finished in 2nd overall. Way to go Eagles.


AP 15 Gazelle Wins 2-Day Texas Fest Tournament
AP 16 Stealth Finishes 6th Overall at 2nd Tour Stop

AP 15 Gazelle traveled to Dallas and competed in the 2-day Texas Fest tournament and captured 1st in the 32-team field of 15 Club with a perfect 7-0 match record. The ladies capped off a fantastic tournament with a come back in the finals after trailing 8-2 in game 3. Way to go Gazelle!

AP 16 Stealth finished 6th overall at the Tour stop in Dallas while AP 16 Spartans played up in the 17 Open division of Texas Fest, where they finished 3rd overall out of the 22 teams. Congrats ladies.

AP 13 Kiraly played in Texas Fest and finished 5th in the 13 Open division out of 20 teams. AP 13 Bees finished 5th in the 13 Club division out of 32 teams. AP 17 Puma also finished in the top 10, coming in 7th in the 22-team Texas Fest 17 Open division.

AP 12 Eagles finished 3-1 over the weekend for a solid 3rd place finish. Good job Eagles.

AP 15 Momentum, playing with just six players, finished 3rd at the APV #3. Way to go Momentum.

AP 14 Mongoose finished as runner up in the silver division at Texas Fest in 14 Club. Good job Mongoose! 


AP 17 Eclectic Wins 18s Tournament
AP 13 Kiraly 2nd in Power Pool Tournament

AP 17 Eclectic went a perfect 5-0 in matches at the 2-day President's Cup in San Antonio and won the 18s division of the tournament. Way to go Eclectic!

AP 13 Kiraly played in the power pool division of the AP tournament and played fantastically, falling just short in the finals. Congrats ladies!

AP 13 Gold and AP 15 Shazam each made their way to the semifinals of their respective tournament, finishing 3rd.


February Starts with 5 Tournament Championships
AP 16 Stealth, AP 16 Spartans Both Win 17s Tournaments

AP 16 Stealth and AP 16 Spartans each played up in 17s tournaments and went undefeated in pool to earn their right to go to the finals. AP 17 Puma and AP 17 Viper, playing in the same tournaments, won their pools, and made it 2 all AP finals, as Stealth took on Puma and Spartans took on Viper in the finals. AP 16 Stealth and AP 16 Spartans each came out ahead in hard fought 3 game matches to claim gold. Great job Stealth, Spartans, Puma and Viper! 

AP 12 Eagles, AP 14 Black Mamba and AP 16 Rush all captured tournament championships over the weekend. AP 16 Rush played and won four matches in a row to claim gold! Way to go ladies!

AP 15 PHD, AP 15 Momentum and AP 16 Tsunami all made their way to the finals of their respective tournaments and earned 2nd place finishes.

AP 15 Gazelle and AP 15 Shazam each lost only to the eventual champion in tightly contested 3 game matches to take 3rd in their respective tournaments. AP 16 Velocity also finished 3rd over the weekend.


AP 14 Black Mamba Undefeated at Tour of Texas
3 AP Teams Finish in the Top 12

AP 14 Black Mamba went a perfect 6-0 in matches at the Tour of Texas stop #1 to qualify for the next 2 Tour of Texas stops. Fantastic job Black Mamba!

AP 16 Stealth finished in the top 8 to earn a right to be in Division 1 at the 2nd Tour stop in Dallas, while AP 17 Eclectic and AP 18 Samurai both finished 12th to earn a Division 2 bid at the next Tour stop. Great job ladies!


AP 15 PHD Finishes 3rd at MLK

AP 15 PHD finished 3rd in the 15 Open division at the 3-day MLK tournament in San Antonio on January 16-18. PHD finished with a 7-1 match record, losing only in the semifinals, to capture 3rd place. Great weekend PHD!


4 AP Teams Start 2010 with Wins!
...and 6 More AP teams Finish Top 3

AP 16 Spartans and AP 16 Tsunami each won their tournaments in San Antonio over the January 9-10 weekend. AP 13 Kiraly and AP 14 Black Mamba also finished their weekends undefeated.

AP 16 Spartans, playing in the Power Pool division at the January Jamboree tournament, went a perfect 4-0 in matches and 8-0 in games and captured the power pool tournament championship. Great job Spartans!

AP 16 Tsunami, playing in the National division at the January Jamboree tournament, went a perfect 4-0 in matches and captured the national division tournament championship. AP 16 Rush had a great weekend, winning 3 straight matches and earning their way to the all AP final of the national division. Great job Tsunami and Rush! 

AP 13 Kiraly had an undefeated weekend, going 3-0 in matches and 6-0 in games in their pool play only tournament. Way to go Kiraly!

AP 14 Black Mamba also finished their weekend undefeated winning their pool in a pool play only tournament. Congrats Black Mamba!

AP 12 Eagles also captured 1st in their pool play only tournament. Great job Eagles!

AP 17 Puma marched their way to the finals and finished 2nd overall in their tournament. 

AP 13 Bees finished 2nd in their pool play only tournament.

AP 16 Stealth went 5-1 in their 2-day tournament, losing only to the eventual champion and finished 3rd overall out of the 20+ teams.

AP 15 Gazelle lost only to the eventual champion and finished 3rd overall in their tournament.


AP Begins Season with 3 Championships
and 4 More AP teams Make it to the Finals

AP 16 Stealth, AP 17 Eclectic and AP 18 Samurai all began their seasons by capturing their tournament championships at Mistletoe Madness on December 12-13. Way to go ladies!

AP 13 Kiraly, AP 14 Black Mambas, AP 15 Gazelle and AP 16 Spartans all won their pool, made it to the finals and finished 2nd overall in their season opening tournaments.

AP 15 PHD also lost only to the eventual champion in their season debut and finished 3rd overall.

AP 17 Puma finished 3rd overall in their first tournament, while AP 15 Fury, AP 15 Momentum, and AP 16 Rush all finished 4th in their respective divisions.

Congratulations AP on a successful season opening weekend!


AP Hosts Another College Recruiting Meeting
January 17 - 7pm - Regents

Jenny Krueger will host another college recruiting meeting on January 17 at 7pm at Regents. If you missed the first meeting, please make it to this one. We know many teams will be practicing during this time, but parents can still attend! All ages are welcome.

Morgan Hendrix Heading Back to USA
Junior Holiday Camp

Morgan has had multiple opportunities to train and compete with the USA High Performance program. She is heading back to Colorado Springs as part of an invitational junior holiday camp. We are excited for Morgan to continue her journey with USA HP Volleyball. In the picture, Morgan is the tallest player near the middle of the back row. Morgan is currently playing for AP 18 Samurai.

A special congratulations also goes to the 10 current and former AP players from Georgetown that are state-bound (Shelbi Goode, Lauren Loerch, Brittany Steele, Amanda Rister, Emily Rutherford, Haley Rhoads, Nicole Fruge, Sam Heller, Jenny Loerch, and Stephanie Steele).

Congrats also to the 4 current and former AP players from Westlake that are state bound (Maddi Williams, Hannah Kolar, Olivia Caridi, and Robyn Mayekawa).

Congratulations also to the 2 current AP players from Regents on their state runner-up finish (Sarah Knop, Avery Osborne). Also, a huge congratulations to AP 17 Eclectic and Regents head coach Miguel Saenz as well as AP 15 PHD and Regents assistant coach Amanda Rodriguez.

Congrats also to AP 15 Gazelle and St. Andrews first year head coach Mark Herrin as well as AP 15 Momentum and St. Andrews Assistant Coach Allison Lambert on the school's 1st ever SPC championship!

AP Announces Site for Mistletoe Madness
University of Texas Rec Center

AP is excited to announce that we will once again be hosting Mistletoe Madness on December 12-13, 2009 on the University of Texas campus at the UT Recreational Sports Center. We will be hosting five age groups in one facility on six courts over the two days!
